トイレで見知らぬ 人と話をすることはありません。
どうしていいかわからなかったので、
ためらいがちに「まあまあだよ」と答えました。
すると隣人は「そうか……それで、今何してるの？」と言うのです。
妙だなと思いましたが、
私はバカ みたいにこう答えました。
「君と同じだよ。ウンコしようとしてるんだ！」 やがて隣の男は、
声をひそめてこう言ったのです。
「おい、あとでかけ直すよ。 隣の個室に、俺の話にいちいち答えるアホがいるんだ！」.

するとりんじんは「そうか……それで、いまなにしてるの？」というのです。

Translation:
I have never talked to strangers in the toilet,
because I didn’t know what to do,
I hesitantly replied : “It’s OK”.
Then the neighbor said “Is that so… So what are you doing now?”
I thought it was strange,
but I still replied like a fool:
“The same as you, I’m just trying to shit here”. A moment later, the man in the next room whispered:
“Hey, I’ll call you back later. There’s an idiot in the next room replying to my story”.
