kanji n3 lesson 5 – JLPT N3. Hi everybody! In this post, Learn Japanese online will introduce to you the summary of Kanji in N3 level. Each of the lessons includes 10 letters, and there are also : Meaning,  Onyomi, Kunyomi, words often going with the Kanji.

Meaning : path, route, road, distance

Onyomi : ろ

Kunyomi :

通路(つうろ):pathway, path
道路(どうろ):road
線路(せんろ):line

42. 停

Meaning : halt, stopping

Onyomi : てい

Kunyomi :

Common words using this Kanji :

停車(ていしゃ):stopping (e.g. train)
バス停(ばすてい):bus stop

43. 整

Meaning : organize, arranging, tune, tone, meter, key (music)

Onyomi : せい

Kunyomi :

整理券(せいりけん):numbered ticket (e.g. to determine order of service in shop, etc.)

44. 券

Meaning : ticket

Onyomi : けん

Meaning : present, existing, actual

48. 優

Meaning : tenderness, excel, surpass, actor, superiority, gentleness

女優(じょゆう):actress
優しい(やさしい):tender; kind; gentle; graceful

49. 座

Meaning : squat, seat, cushion, gathering, sit

Onyomi : ざ

Kunyomi : すわ-る

正座(せいざ):seiza; kneeling with the tops of the feet flat on the floor, and sitting on the soles
座る(すわる): to sit; to squat

50. 降

Meaning : descend, precipitate, fall, surrender
