Meaning and how to use :

Expresses that a relationship is still going on and well. Often translated as “has always…”

Examples:

私は彼女に愛情を続けてやまない。
Watashi ha kanojo ni aijou o tsuduke te yama nai.
My love for her hasn’t faded away.

息子は高橋野原歌手に仰いでやまない。
Musuko ha takahashi nohara kashu ni aoi de yama nai.
My son has always adored the singer Takahashi Nohara.

親は自分の子供に多く期待してやまない。
Oya ha jibun no kodomo ni ooku kitai shi te yama nai.
Parents never stop believing in their children.

私が愛する人に幸せを願ってやまない。
Watashi ga aisuru hito ni shiawase o negatte yama nai.
I will always wish the best things for people I love.

君に無事を祈ってやまない。
Kimi ni buji o inotte yama nai.
I will always pray for your safety.

Note:
+) Always used after a verb indicating emotion.
+) Mostly used in novels, rarely used in normal conversations.
