Meaning and how to use :

Describe an even, a state that is unfinished, or haven’t happened.

For example

Boku ha mada heya o kataduke te i mase n. Haha ga shitte i tara zehi shikarareru daro u.
I haven’t finished cleaning yet. If my mother knows, I will definitely be scolded.

kon asanebou shi ta node, mada asa gohan o tabe te i mase n.
I woke up late so I was late to school today.

mada shigoto o owatte i mase n.
I haven’t done work yet.

mada shukudai o yatte i mase n.
I haven’t finished my homework yet.

mada juku ni itte i mase n yo.
I haven’t arrived the class yet.

Note: The structure opposite to this one is もう…ました
