Meaning and how to use :

Describe thing in the first clause of a sentence that can only happens in a case mentioned in the 2nd clause. Means disregarding or not highly evaluating thing.

For example

Kare ha boku ni ai ni iku no ha, nani ka tasuke te morai tai gurai no mono da.
The reason why he comes to see me is that he mights just want to have my help.

gankyou na kanojo ha ookina koe de naku no ha, shinkoku na itami o uke ta gurai no mono da.
She’s strong, she will cry only because of a serious injury.

ano ookina kaisha ha totsuzen keiei shi nai no ha, hasan gurai no mono da.
If that big company stops their business, it’s only because they are bankrupt.

nouryoku ga aru tanaka san ga kaisha o yameru no ha, shigoto o akirameru gurai no mono da.
Excellent person like Tanaka leaves company, it’s only because he gets bored.

hon ga suki na kare ha tochuu de yameru no ha, sono hon ha hontouni tsumaranai gurai mono da.
Only because of a too boring book can he stop reading.
