Describe the meaning “not really … / not … always right”. Use to make exceptions to what is supposed to be true.

Examples:

お金持ちな人はいつも幸せに生活しているとは限らない。
O kanemochi na hito ha itsumo shiawase ni seikatsu shi te iru to ha kagira nai.
Not every rich person lives happly.

大人になったら自由に行動できるとは限らない。
Otona ni nattara jiyuu ni koudou suru to ha kagira nai.
Becoming an adult isn’t always mean you can act freely.

有名な人の発言はどれでも正しいとは限らない。
Yuumei na hito no hatsugen ha dore demo tadashii to ha kagira nai.
Not everything a celebrity says is right.

Koko ha ninki ga aru resutoran desu ga, itsumo ryouri ga oishii to hyouban sareru to ha kagira nai.
This is one of the most liked restaurant but the food isn’t really always tasty.

教科書に書いてある情報は全部必要とは限らない。ふるい落とさなきゃならない。
Kyoukasho de kai te aru jouhou ha zenbu hitsuyou to ha kagira nai. Furuiotoshi nakya nara nai.
