Means “N as a N1”. This is the way of modifying subject.

Sensei de ha naku, kyuu gakusei toshite no tachiba kara nyuugaku shiki de happyou shi masu.
I’ll do the speech as a formal student, not a teacher.

kare ha isha toshite no keiken ga asai.
He got few experiences as a doctor

kimi ha joushi toshite no ichi kara kaisha o mioroshi te kudasai.
Let’s look down company from the upper position

musume ha shachou toshite no shigoto ni hijou ni yuunou de aru.
My daughter has nice ability to be a manager

tantou sha toshite no sekinin o hatasu
I have done my work as a curator
