Expresses the meaning “But…” Used to raise another event that is often opposite or negative comparing to the previous event mentioned.

A: That kid is good at computers.

B: sorenishitemo, bideo gēmu ni muchuu ni natte iru yo ne.
B: But he’s too absorded in computer games.

A:Tanaka san no seiseki ga ii desu ne.
A: Mr. Tanaka’s achievements are nice, right.

B: sorenishitemo, juku ni itte bakari iru node karada mo yowaku natta n da.
B: Yeah but he goes to cramping school all the time so his body got weaker.

A : kyou ha tenki ga ii desu ne.
A: Today’s weather is nice, right

B: Yeah. But he said he doesn’t want to go to school.

A : densha ha okure ta ne.
A: The train is late right?

A : bukka ga mada ne agatte i masu yo.
A: The prices are rising again.

B : sorenishitemo konnani tsuyoku zouzei suru nante, seiji ka tachi ha nani o omotte i masu ka.
