ichido hanashi ta kiri de tomodachi ni natta.
Only after once talking have we been friends.

赤ペンは後一本きりです。
aka pen ha go ichi hon kiri desu.
There’s only one red pencil left.

松本さんの本は後一冊残しています。
matsumoto san no hon ha go ichi satsu nokoshi te i masu.
Matsumoto’s book is just 1 left.

朝 牛乳を飲んだきりで何も食べてなかった。
asa gyuunyuu o non da kiri de nani mo tabete nakatta.
This morning I only drank 1 box of milk and didn’t eat anything.

Note :
きり、っきり:when going with これ、それ、あれ the pronunciation will turn into これっきり、それっきり、あれっきり.
