「寝る前には、神様にお祈りをするんだよ。天国に行けるからね。」
“Neru mae ni wa, kamisama ni o inori wo suru n da yo. Tengoku ni ikeru kara ne.”
“Before sleeping, we must pray our god. So we can go to heaven, you know ! ”

「おじいさん、僕はお祈りなんかしたくないよ。」
“Ojiisan, boku wa o inori nanka shitakunai yo.”
“Grandfather, i don’t like praying or something like that.”

「なんて事を言うんだ!お前、私の事が嫌いになったのか?」
“Nante koto wo iu n da! Omae, watashi no koto ga kirai ni natta no ka?”
“What are you saying ! Do you hate me, boy?”

「ううん。好きだよ。だから、行くならおじいさんたちと同じ所にしたいんだ」
“uun. Suki da yo. Dakara, iku nara ojiisantachi to onaji tokoro ni shitai n da.”
