Meaning and how to use :

Describe the meaning “Finally got a result despite a hard time”. This structure is used to talk about good results. If you want to describe bad results, use「かろうじて…なかった」 .

Example:

長く戦ってようやく勝ちました。
Nagaku tatakatte youyaku kachimashita.
I fought for a long time and finally won.

彼と喧嘩してようやく私の意見が正しいと認められました。
Kare to kenka shite youyaku watashi no iken ga tadashii to mitomeraremashita.
I quarreled with him and at last, my opinion was recognized as correct.

ようやく夜が明けた。
Youyaku yo ga aketa.
The night has finally come.

彼女はようやく自分の立場を確認した。
Kanojo ha youyaku jibun no tachiba wo kakuninshita.
She finally confirmed her position.

ようやく僕が運転許可をとりました。
Youyaku boku ga undou kyoka wo torimashita.
I finally got my driving license.
