Meaning and how to use :

Describing the meaning “one of two”. This structure gives the requirement to select N1 or N2, or express the meaning to choose whichever is appropriate if N1 or N2 is suitable.


Igirisu moshikuwa Furansu ni shutchou suru koto ni naru.
I will go on a business in England or France.

Webu moshikuwa chokusetsu ni itte touroku shite kudasai.
Please register on the web or directly.

Keihi wa kurejittokaado moshikuwa chokusetsu ni uketsuke de harau koto ga dekimasu.
Expenses can be paid by credit card or directly at the reception.

Aomori ni iku to kuruma moshikuwa hikouki de iku koto ni shimasu.
When I go to Aomori I will go by car or plane.

Tantou no tanaka san moshikuwa nohara buchou ni tsutaeta hou ga ii.
Tell the Mr Tanaka or the Manager Nohara.

Note: When N1 is divided into two in the structure “N1 もしくは N2”, it will form a relationship “N1AもしくはN1B 、 ま た は N2”
