Expressing the meaning “space between two objects, two places”. If you want to specify 2 objects, use 「NとNのあいだ」.


Toshokan to byouin no ma ni eigakan ga arimasu.
There is a movie theater between the library and the hospital.

Beddo to hondana no ma ni neko ga imasu.
There is a cat between the bed and the bookshelf.

Toshokan to IMC kaisha no ma ni ookii kouen ga arimasu.
There is a big park between the library and IMC company.

Yamada-san to Satou-san no ma ni kaban ga arimasu.
There is a bag between Mr. Yamada and Mr. Sato.

Eki to washoku resutoran no ma ni chiisai hon ya ga arimasu.
There is a small bookstore between the station and the Japanese restaurant.
