It is used to make requests.

Example:

ねえ、ちょっと手伝ってちょうだい。
Nee, chotto tetsudattechoudai.
Hey, please help me.

彼女は私に「このボックスを部屋の中に運んでちょうだい。」と言っていました。
Kanojo ha watashi ni “Kono bokkusu wo heya no naka ni hakonde choudai” to itteimashita.
She said to me, “Please bring this box into the room”.

この荷物がちょっと重いので持ってちょうだい。
Kono mimotsu ga chotto omoi node mottechoudai.
Because this luggage is a bit heavy, please bring it for me.

先生の電話番号を教えてちょうだい。
Sensei no denwa bangou wo oshietechoudai.
Please tell me teacher’s phone number.

皆にこのことを報告してちょうだい。
Mina ni kono koto wo houkoku shite choudai.
Please report this to everyone.

Note: It is usually used by women and children with people close to them. Although it isn’t impolite, do not use it in formal situations.
