B:「それどころか、悪人ほどですよ」
A: `Ano hito wa kowai hitodesu ne’
B: `Soredokoroka, akunin hododesu yo’
A: “That is such a scary person.”
B: “Not only that but also a cruel person.”

A:「あなたが住んでいる町は暖かいですね」
B:「それどころか、暑いほどですよ」
A: `Anata ga sunde iru machi wa attakaidesu ne’
B: `Soredokoroka, atsui hododesu yo’
A: “The town where you live is warm”
B: “It’s not just that, it’s hot.”

A:「あの人は私に先入観がありそうだ。」
B:「それどころか、君の事を悪口をよく言うよ。」
A: `Ano hito wa watashi ni sennyuukan ga arii souda.’
B: `Soredokoroka, kimi no koto wo waruguchi wo yoku iu yo.’
A: “He seems to have a prejudice against me.”
B: “Not only that but also often says bad things about you”.

昨日どこでも遊びに行きませんでした。それどころか、家に出かける一分もない。
Kinou doko demo asobi ni ikimasendeshita. Soredokoroka,ie ni dekakeru ichi bun mo nai.
Yesterday I didn’t go out anywhere. Not only that, but I also did not leave the house even for a minute.

あの人は新しい言葉を勉強しなかった。それどころか、本まで開けなかった。
Ano hito wa atarashii kotoba wo benkyou shinakatta. Soredokoroka, hon made hirakenakatta.
That person didn’t learn any new word. Not only that he didn’t even open the book.
