11. 気が進まない:Indecisive, tend to procrastinate (not moving forwards)

For example:

寒い日に洗濯するのは気が進まない。
Samuihini sentakusurunoha kiga susumanai

In cold weather, it’s really irritating to do the washing (procrastinate, not wanting to do). 

12. 気がすむRelieved, freed (When things are over)

For example:

言いたいことをぜんぶ言ったので気がすんだ。
Iitaikotowo zenbu ittanode kiga sunda

It’s so relieved to say what you have always wanted to say.

13. 気がするTo feel like, to seem like (Objectively)

For example:

あの人にどこかで会ったような気がするけど、だれだったかしら。
Anohitoni dokokade attayounakiga surukedo, daredatta kashira

It feels like I’ve seen this one somewhere but who is s/he?

14. 気が立つ:To lose control, to be nervous.

For example:

お父さんとお母さんがけんかして、二人とも気が立ってるから話しをしないほうがいいよ。

Parents are fighting, since they are losing control, it’s better to keep silent.

15. 気が小さい:Shy, timid, not confident.

For example:

この子は気が小さくて初めて会った人とはなかなか話ができないんです。
Konokoha kigachiisakute hajimete attahito toha nakanaka hanashiga dekinaindesu.

This kid is very timid and afraid to talk to strangers.

My wife is a strong person so she is very good at leading people.

For example:

ボートで太平洋をわたるなんて気が遠くなるような計画だ。

Crossing the Pacific ocean on a boat is a shocking plan.

19. 気がないTo be indifferent, unimpressed.

For example:

妹に「買い物に行こう」と言ったのだが、「ふーん」と気がない返事だった。
Imoutoni kaimononiikou to ittanodaga, [fu-n] to kiganai henjidatta.

I ask my sister “Let’s go shopping” but she only replied “Pft” nonchalantly.

20. 気が長い:To be patient.

For example:

1時間も待っていたんですが。気が長いですね。私なら15分も待ってませんよ。
Ichijikanmo matteitand esuka. Kiganagai desune. Watashinara 15punmo mattemasenyo.

You even wait for one hour? You’re so patient. Let it be me, I wouldn’t wait even for 15 minutes.
