Meaning and how to use :

1.The thing standing after ”向けの” is created for the one standing before it.
Only used with: N+向けの+N

For example

わが会社は子供向けの独別なおもちゃを作った。
Waga kaisha wa kodomo muke no doku betsu na omocha o tsukutta.
Our company has created toy for children.

忙しい人向けの英語クラスを開いた。
isogashii hito muke no eigo kurasu o hirai ta.
I opened an English class for busy people.

彼は太った人向けの服を作った。
kare wa futotta hito muke no fuku o tsukutta.
He makes clothings for fat people

2. ”make N an object to do something”

Only used with: N+向けに

For example

初心者向けにガイド本を書いた。
shoshinsha muke ni gaido hon o kai ta.
I wrote a guide book aiming at beginners.

研究者は癌を掛ける人向けに新しい薬を発明した。
kenkyū sha wa gan o kakeru hito muke ni atarashii kusuri o hatsumei shi ta.
Scientists has partened the new medicine which aims at people who have liver disease.

動物好きな人向けにクラブを開いた。
dōbutsu suki na hito muke ni kurabu o hirai ta.
I open a club for people who love animals
