Meaning and how to use :

Express a strong negation, it’s often uttered with falling tone. “Definitely not…/absolutely note…”.

For example

僕は今あきらめるものか。最後までがんばりますよ。
Boku ha ima akirameru mono ka. Saigo made ganbari masu yo.
I won’t be down-hearted. I’ll try to the bitter end.

私は誕生日パーティーに彼のような馬鹿な人を誘うもんか。
watashi ha tanjou bi pātī ni kare no you na baka na hito o sasou mon ka.
I definitedly not invite such a stupid man to my birthday party.

失業している人は毎月100万円も稼げるなんてそのことが あるものですか。
shitsugyou shi te iru hito ha maitsuki ichi zero zero man en mo kasegeru nante sono koto ga aru mono desu ka.
That the unemployed earns 1000.000 a month is impossible

外は寒いものか。出かけようよ。
soto ha samui mono ka. Dekakeyo u yo.
It’s not cold outside. Let’s go out

約束をやぶった人に信じるもんか。
yakusoku o yabutta hito ni shinjiru mon ka.
I definitely won’t believe person once lying to me again.

Note:
+) This is the structure used mostly in intimate conversations.
+) Men often use “ものか”, and “ものですか” for women.
