Meaning and how to use :

“impossible to do, potential to do”.

For example

このクイズは3歳の子供でも解け得る。
Kono kuizu wa san sai no kodomo de mo toke eru.
Even kids can resolve this multiple choice question.

ここではタバコを吸い得る。
koko de wa tabako o suieru.
It’s allowed to smoke here

彼は死んだことを信じ得ない。
kare wa shin da koto o shinjie nai.
I can’t believe that he died.

私は想像するだけのことが現実にし得る。
watashi wa sōzō suru dake no koto ga genjitsu ni shieru.
I can turn what you can just imagine about in to real one.

経験がたくさんあるので、この仕事をし得る。
keiken ga takusan aru node, kono shigoto o shieru.
Because I have many experience, I can do this work.
