Meaning and how to use :

Describe disparagement, bad appraisal about object which stands before ばかり, after ばかり is usually negative clause. meaning “only/ just ~”

For example

Kanojo ha kiku bakari de iken o hitotsu mo dasa nai.
She’s just listenning and doesn’t give any idea.

fuyu ha samui bakari de tanoshiku nai desu yo.
There’s nothing fun in winter but cold.

sono kashu ha kirei na bakari de, uta o utau no ha umaku nai yo.
She’s just beautiful, but she doesn’t sing beautifully.

kare ha o seji o iu bakari de, shigoto ga deki nai yo.
He is just good at flatterying, but he can’t do anything well.

kono purojekuto ha isogashii bakari de, imi ga nai yo.
That project just makes me busy, but doesnt bring me anything.
