Meaning and how to use :

Describe repetitive state. Means “Everytime..do…”

For example

1. 帰国するたびに、日本にいる友達にプレゼントをかってあげます。
Kikoku suru tabi ni, nippon ni iru tomodachi ni purezento o katte age masu.
Everytime I go back to my home country I buy my friends in Japan some presents.

2. 外食するたびに、フランスレストランに来ます。
gaishoku suru tabi ni, furansu resutoran ni ki masu.
Everytime I ate out I came to French restaurant.

3. 旅行のたびに、子犬を隣の人に頼む。
ryokou no tabi ni, koinu o tonari no hito ni tanomu.
I have my neighbor take care of my dog everytime I travel

4. この歌を聞くたびに、故郷を思い出す。
kono uta o kiku tabi ni, kokyou o omoidasu.
Everytime I hear this song I miss my country.

5. 新しいおもちゃを買ってもらうたびに、あの子はうれしくて笑顔をする。
atarashii omocha o katte morau tabi ni, ano ko ha ureshiku te egao o suru.
Everytime the child has a new toy he smile happily

Note: this common way of speaking: このたび means “recently”
