Meaning and how to use :

Expresses the meaning “thinking whether or not to do something..”.

Examples:

流行するの流行しないのと夫と言い争っている。
Ryuukou suru no ryuukou shi nai no to otto to iiarasotte iru.
I argued with my husband about whether or not should we go on a vacation.

その情報を信じるの信じないのと悩んでいる。
Sono jouhou o shinjiru no shinji nai no to nayan de iru.
I spend a lot of time thinking whether or not should I trust that information.

彼女と結婚するの結婚しないのと考えている。
Kanojo to kekkon suru no kekkon shi nai no to kangae te iru.
I’m thinking whether or not should I marry her.
